4. Flammable Storage Refrigerators or Freezers

Flammable chemicals or chemical mixtures which are required to be stored below room temperature must be stored in refrigerators or freezers specifically designed by the manufacturer to be explosion proof. All other refrigerators or freezers not specifically designed to be explosion proof should be labelled with a prominent warning sign indicating that they are unsuitable for the storage of flammable substances.
